American Green, representing the heavier sounds of rock’n’roll, releases a brand new LP Together, followed by a music video for the leading track under the same title.
The whole project and visuals are inspired by the Covid-19 outbreak and the changes it has brought to our society. The band is sending an encouraging message: we are in it together, we need to stay supportive towards each other because that is the only way to make it through this troubling time.
American Greed has a great ability to articulate their story, and even such an emotional message layered on a rock sound that feels as natural as possible. The equal parts of instruments are all synchronized and deeply satisfying.
