Steve Aoki Takes Over Hakkasan Clubs With New VR Recording

If there’s one thing to be said about Steve Aoki, it’s that he’s never, ever boring. One of the busiest people in dance music, Aoki has had a number of collaborations recently including “Bella Ciao” with Marnik, “Shakalaka” with Deorro, MAKJ, and Max Styler, and “Pretender” with Lil Yachty and AJR. The latter is getting some fire remixes from Matoma and Blanke, both of which drop this coming Friday.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get to hear one or both of them whenever Aoki drops by any of Hakkasan’s clubs in Las Vegas: Hakkasan, OMNIA, and Wet Republic:

August 16 – Hakkasan LV
August 18 – OMNIA LV
September 1 – Wet Republic

For a special show back in early Spring, Nice Spaceship, Steve Aoki and Omnia partnered up to film a custom 360 VR video to give fans a glimpse into how shows will be filmed and broadcasted in the future.

Nice Spaceship engages a variety of brands and fanbases with different types of event-based 360 VR video recording and live streaming. Based out of Las Vegas, they’re a strong voice in virtual reality innovation in the entertainment space. Check out the video below:
