Soulja Boy wants to know why his sexual assault accuser wants money instead of him in jail.
Soulja Boy Blasts His Accuser
On April 12, SB went on Instagram Live and blasted the woman he’s been ordered to pay $4.2 million after being found liable for assault, sexual battery and infliction of emotional distress during a civil trial last week.
“Go tell the police to come lock me up b***h, if I touched your a*s b***h,” Soulja snaps in the video below. “Lying-a*s b***h. Ain’t nobody touched your funky a*s, b***h.”
“Who the f**k want money for being sexually assaulted?” he added. “Who the f**k want some money for that? B***h go lock the n***a up. That’s how you know this s**t a scam. The system is broken.”
The accuser’s attorney, Ronald Zambrano, has released the following statement to XXL in response to Soulja Boy’s rant: “[Soulja Boy] unsurprisingly omits there was a criminal investigation connected with the same conduct. Our client did want him locked up and gave law enforcement the same evidence back in 2021. But it’s not up to her to force the DA to do their job and actually file criminal charges. The DA made the decision and declined to do so. Unfortunately, this is an example of why some share a view that California is soft on crime.”

Soulja Boy Found Liable for Serious Allegations
After being sued in January of 2021 by a woman who claims she worked for and dated the rapper who abused and sexually assaulted her, the case went to trial in March. A jury found the Atlanta-bred rapper liable for claims including assault, sexual battery and infliction of emotional distress. The jury did not find him liable for false imprisonment or hostile work environment, the other claims in the 2021 lawsuit.
Soulja was ordered to pay his anonymous accuser $4.2 million in compensatory and punitive damages. The woman was seeking $73.6 million
Following the verdict, Soulja read a prepared statement off his phone to the press outside the courtroom.
“Today, I stand before you deeply disappointed in the verdict delivered in my case,” he said. “I firmly believe that the decision made in court was not based on facts or substantial evidence, but rather on factors were outside of my control. The truth was overshadowed by individuals such as the jury who were not present during the events in question. And I feel that the system allowed external influences to shape the outcome.”
