Ja Rule says he was prepared to go nuclear over 50 Cent‘s comments about Irv Gotti‘s death.

Ja Rule Reacts to 50 Cent Mocking Irv Gotti

On Thursday (April 10), Ja was a guest on The Breakfast Club where he talked about the legacy of Murder Inc., fatherhood, the death of his mentor Irv Gotti and more. During the sit-down, the former Murder Inc. rapper was asked about 50 Cent mocking Irv Gotti in social media posts after he passed.

“When I see the things that he does, he did the Irv thing, ‘smoking on Irv,’ I’m like…Nobody likes all this goofy sh*t. It’s goofy sh*t,” Ja says around the 43:45 timestamp of the interview below. “I was hot. I was ready to go nuclear and sh*t.”

“I don’t want to start trouble or make trouble with people,” Ja adds. “But if we got to get into it, oh, I’ll f**king end it.”

During the interview, Ja also denied that Murder Inc. had anything to do with 50 Cent’s 2003 shooting.

50 Cent and Murder Inc.’s storied beef did not end with the passing of Irv Gotti, as Fif shared an Instagram post captioned, “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack, nah God bless him LOL,” following Irv’s untimely death.

The move clearly didn’t sit well with Ja, who has been silent about the post until now.

Ja eulogized Irv Gotti at his funeral back in February. “I just wanna say, Irv, I love you,” Ja said at the service, which was attended by Jay-Z, Fat Joe and others. “Everyone in this room loves you. You touched everybody in your own way. I know everybody has their moments of that with him. So, we are all here in celebration of your life. Because it will live on forever. I love you, my brother. See you when I get there.”
