Sada Baby was arrested on drug charges yesterday afternoon in Michigan and his mugshot is pretty wild.
Sada Baby Arrested for Drug Possession Warrant
On Tuesday (April 8), the Detroit rapper, born Casada Sorrell, was taken into custody in Shelby Township, Mich., on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, according to police records obtained by XXL on Wednesday (April 9). The warrant stems from Sada being arrested in Sterling Heights, Mich., back in January. In that incident, police pulled him over for tinted windows and discovered he had an outstanding warrant from October of 2023 for driving without a license and took him into custody.
According to court records, the 32-year-old rapper was charged in June 2023 with driving while unlicensed for three years, and a warrant request was filed in October 2023. Cops searched his vehicle and said he was also in possession of “possible illegal contraband.”
Fox 2 Detroit reports Sada pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to display a valid license in March and was ordered to pay fines. The contraband discovered during the traffic stop required testing, which concluded it was narcotics.
Sada has been booked into the Macomb County Jail. His booking photo, which shows the rapper with a huge closed-mouth smile, is going viral. As of press time, Sada has not been given a bond. His next court date is not listed.
