UPDATE (April 1):

Baddies reality show contestant Demi Blanco has come forward as the woman who made the 911 phone call that set events in motion leading to the death of Young Scooter.

On Tuesday (April 1), Blanco went live on Instagram and gave her side of the story, which contradicts what she told 911 dispatchers on the day Scooter died. Blanco explains that she was the person being abused, which led to her dialing emergency services.

“I was physically abused. So, I called to protect myself,” she says. “I never had any intentions to get anybody hurt.”

Blanco called the police on March 28 and claimed gunshots were fired and a bloody woman was being assaulted at a home on William Nye Drive in Atlanta. When police arrived on the scene, Scooter and another man jetted out the backdoor. Scooter cut himself on a fence while evading officers, leading to fatal blood loss. His death was ruled an accident by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday. It is unclear if police established if any crimes were taking place at the home.

ORIGINAL STORY (April 1):

A disturbing 911 call has surfaced linked to the incident that led to Young Scooter‘s death last week. Police in Atlanta are trying to identify the woman who made the 911 call and claimed she saw a woman bleeding and drugs being sold.

Police Ask for Help Identifying 911 Caller

On March 29, the Atlanta Police Department released audio of the call, which prompted them to respond to William Nye Drive in Atlanta on March 28. The woman in the clip claims to be a member of the Neighborhood Watch Association. She tells the dispatcher that there was a shooting and a domestic dispute going on at the home. She also says the home is a drug-dealing and prostitution hub. The woman claims she witnessed a naked woman bleeding profusely being thrown out of the home and getting into an altercation with one of the several men living at the house. When the 911 operator asks the caller for their name, there are pauses in the audio. It’s unclear if she gave a name or if the info was censored for privacy.

When police responded to the location, two men, one being Young Scooter, attempted to flee out of a backdoor. One man returned, but Scooter kept running, according to police. The rapper apparently jumped two fences to try and get away. When police caught up to him, he was suffering from a leg injury. Police on the scene applied a tourniquet to the injury. Then Scooter was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

It is unclear if police actually located any crimes taking place at the home, which appears to be the reason they want to get in contact with the 911 caller. TMZ reports the call might have been made by a swatter. Someone who reports false crimes as a means of harassment.
