A spokesperson for Young Buck has released the following statement to XXL regarding the rapper’s recent arrest: “Although Buck is innocent and he was in fact the victim in this case, he has been presumed guilty by the color of his skin, his past, his genre of music and his image as an entertainer.”

Young Buck was arrested earlier this week for contempt of court in Sumner County, Tenn. and sentenced to 30 days in jail ahead of his upcoming trial.
Young Buck Arrested Ahead of Trial
According to police records obtained by XXL on Thursday (April 10), Buck, born David Brown, was booked on Monday (April 7). Local Nashville, Tenn. news station WKRN reports the Tennessee rapper had a bond hearing earlier this week during which a criminal court judge ordered the former G-Unit rhymer to be jailed for 30 days for missing previous bond meetings. Following the completion of Buck’s sentence, the judge will issue a new bond. Buck is scheduled to go to trial for domestic assault and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon charges on July 24.
Buck was originally arrested in October of 2020, on charges of domestic assault, vandalism over $10,000 and felon in possession of a firearm. The arrest stemmed from a domestic dispute between Buck and his girlfriend at the time, Lucresia Neal. During a violent argument, Buck allegedly destroyed property and grabbed Neal and attempted to throw her to the ground. Neal obtained a firearm and reportedly fired warning shots at Buck. Neal was later arrested for reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. Buck was arrested again in February of 2022 after he reportedly vandalized the same woman’s car.

50 Cent Reacts to Young Buck Arrest
Young Buck’s nemesis 50 Cent didn’t waste any time poking fun at his former artist’s expense. Fif shared a photo of Buck’s mugshot on Instagram and joked about his head structure.
“Damn how dat [ninja emoji] head get like that[?]” 50 Cent questioned in the post below. “Police must’ve hit him in the head. LOL.”
