Dayton, Ohio emcee Lee Carver is back with a brand new extended play, A Night 2 Dismember. Following his 2015 solo debut Massacre Mask, Carver solidified his place in the underground scene as the third and final member of the formidable Alla Xul Elu. Known for their signature blend of sharp horrorcore lyricism, boom bap foundations, and industrial hip-hop textures, the group has been a force to be reckoned with since 2018. Carver’s latest project serves as a direct follow-up to his winter sophomore effort, Meathead: Satanic Steakhouse.

The EP kicks off with the “New Release” intro, leading directly into “The House Demands a Host,” a track that welcomes listeners back into the fold over a classic boom bap instrumental. The project maintains its intensity with “Serrated,” a visceral expression of misanthropy, before shifting into the quirkier, beat-driven “Mr. Meathook.” The momentum continues with “Bump in the Night,” a collaboration with Mutanoid Underground Dwellers that serves as an anthem for the unapologetic outcasts of the scene.

The second half of the EP, beginning with “Rotting Flesh Rewind,” leans heavily into the gruesome imagery and bloodcurdling narratives that define the horrorcore genre. Tracks like “Blood Shed” adopt a slower, more morbid tempo, allowing Carver to focus on his lyrical storytelling. The project concludes with “Corpse Funnel,” which transitions into the “Satanic Steakhouse Theme” outro, grounding the finale in a traditional boom bap soundscape that spans four and a half minutes of intense lyricism.

As the Long Live Evil collective prepares for their upcoming medley set at the 26th annual Gathering of the Juggalos, A Night 2 Dismember serves as a vital expansion of the Meathead: Satanic Steakhouse narrative. By providing additional context to the titular character introduced six months prior, Carver successfully fleshes out his dark, conceptual world with a project that is as cohesive as it is unsettling.
