Fitzgerald, who presided over the artist’s previous murder-for-hire trial. A representative from the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office has been ordered to attend the proceedings to provide an updated bail report.
This development arrives as the second trial on murder-related racketeering charges linked to Only the Family (OTF) is currently slated for October 5. While some legal observers, including social media commentators, have speculated that the date may serve as a placeholder rather than a firm trial start, the legal process remains active. Attorney Moe Gangat has suggested that the defense team intends to present a substantial bail package, arguing that because Durk was acquitted in his murder-for-hire trial last month, he should not be considered a flight risk or a threat to the community.
