EARTHCHILD presenting the Official Music Video for, ‘Jolly’
The emerging Omaha, Nebraska based rap duo, EARTHCHILD, deliver a lighthearted yet dark sound on the lead single of their upcoming mixtape, “Area 51”.
As the track starts the beat sets the light-hearted mood with a sound reminiscent of an arcade. Within the back and forth hook VPOLLO & TSobs it starts to establish the Yin & Yang of the song addressing the turn-up lifestyle the two live while also addressing frustrations and loneliness.
The verses capitalize more upon the theme of Yin and Yang with VPOLLO talking about taking advantage of his status and the party life. TSobs, on the other hand, addresses his darker side of emotions and feelings of loneliness, and if you want to live this life it consumes you if you aren’t careful.
