The fourth extended play from Los Angeles, California emcee Hexxx has finally arrived. Marking a decade since his debut EP, Samhain, Hexxx has consistently evolved his sound, following up his early work with West Coast Wicked Shit and his full-length projects Demon Season and Tales of a Cursed G. After releasing the Suerte EP last summer, he returns with a project that serves as an audio exploration of an Endless Night.

The project opens with “Rock, Paper, Cemetery,” which reemerges from the dusk to address the hereditary nature of his craft, while “Crash Out” pivots to a trap-influenced soundscape, capturing the artist’s struggle with internal pain. Following an interlude, “The Real” highlights his commitment to independence and loyalty, leading into the darker, driving instrumentation of “Freight Train.”

The latter half of the EP maintains this momentum. After the “Ghost Dog” interlude, “Westside Samurai” leans into the signature west coast wicked shit aesthetic, reflecting on the personal cost of his success. “Loco” brings a gritty, ratchet-inspired energy, while “Entrance Theme” offers a Memphis-inspired atmosphere dedicated to his peers. The project concludes with “Chrome Clouds” and the jazzy, celebratory “Friday,” which serves as a fitting weekend anthem.

Despite the time elapsed since Suerte, Hexxx spent much of 2025 away from the touring circuit to focus entirely on crafting Endless Night. The result is a project that stands as one of his most accomplished works to date. By weaving together jazz rap, ratchet, and Memphis-influenced production, Hexxx provides a platform to address the questions that have been bubbling in his mind, solidifying his position as a unique voice in the west coast scene.
