Rapper Pooh Shiesty is currently facing serious allegations regarding an “inappropriate relationship” with a case supervisor during his period of home confinement. According to federal prosecutors, this relationship directly influenced his movements on the day Gucci Mane was allegedly robbed and kidnapped.

Court documents obtained by XXL on Friday, June 26, 2026, reveal that the rapper was involved in a personal relationship with at least one case supervisor at Volunteers of America (VOA). This organization was responsible for monitoring his home confinement following his 2022 federal conviction on conspiracy and drug trafficking charges.

Unauthorized Movements and Misconduct

The filing alleges that the employee entered unauthorized day passes into the system, granting Pooh Shiesty the freedom to travel to locations that were strictly outside the scope of his court-mandated restrictions. This pattern of misconduct reportedly culminated on the day of the kidnapping, during which the employee allegedly entered three separate day passes and maintained contact with the rapper nineteen times.

In response to these findings, VOA has reportedly terminated the employee involved. Meanwhile, Pooh Shiesty’s attorney, Kent Schaffer, has issued a statement denying the claims, asserting that the relationship was not inappropriate and characterizing the allegations as a distraction from the primary trial.

Ongoing Legal Challenges

Despite the alleged assistance from his supervisor, court records indicate that Pooh Shiesty still accumulated at least four documented violations. These include a refusal to provide a valid urine sample in November 2025, a missed urinalysis appointment in January 2026, and a failure to appear for a biweekly check-in in March 2026. The rapper continues to remain in custody while awaiting trial for the alleged robbery and kidnapping of Gucci Mane at a Dallas recording studio. His trial is currently scheduled for February 22, 2027.
