After a period of mixed reception for his recent EPs, The Blacker the Berry and Tha Nighthawk Chapter, this fifth installment of the Lethal Weapon series serves as a focused return to form.
The project opens with the title track, “Lethal Weapon,” which utilizes a sample-driven boom bap instrumental to address critics and the artist’s own reactivation. The momentum continues with “Vega,” where the production strips back the drums to highlight Fahim’s lyrical dexterity. Tracks like “All I Know” explore the high-stakes nature of his ambition, while “Times of War” offers a soulful meditation on the balance between conflict and harmony.
