Drake has officially cemented his status as a music industry titan, becoming the first artist in history to secure the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart simultaneously. This unprecedented achievement follows the release of his latest projects: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.
According to a report published by Billboard on Sunday, May 24, 2026, the trifecta of albums debuted at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, respectively. This milestone marks a significant moment for the artist, as he is the first performer to hold the top three entries concurrently since the Billboard 200 chart began its weekly publication in March 1956.
The commercial performance of these projects has been staggering. Iceman led the charge with 463,000 equivalent album units, while Habibti and Maid of Honour contributed 114,000 and 110,000 units, respectively. Collectively, the OVO leader moved 687,000 total units in the seven-day period following their May 15 release.
With this latest feat, Drake has now amassed 15 career No. 1 albums, surpassing the long-standing record held by Jay-Z, who previously held 14. The artist is currently tied with Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums among soloists, trailing only The Beatles, who maintain the all-time record with 19.
Beyond the chart success, the rollout for these projects has been highly visible. Drake accompanied the album releases with 18 music videos. The Iceman project, in particular, has generated significant discourse online due to its lyrical content, which includes pointed references to Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Rick Ross, and Jay-Z.
The reception has not been without its critics. Rick Ross recently expressed his disapproval of the new music during an appearance on the PBD Podcast, characterizing the output as mediocre and questioning the artist’s creative direction. Despite such critiques, the commercial data confirms that the audience demand for the new material remains at an all-time high.
